We are seeking a highly organized and analytical individual to join our team as a Production Planning Specialist at Marmion, a leading FMCG manufacturer. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the short-term production schedule, effectively communicating any changes across the business.
- Inventory management and weekly stock assessments at our warehouse; adjusting logistical requirements based on production outcomes.
- Coordinate raw material delivery to arrive on site for production on a 'just in time' basis.
- Handle works orders, monitor stock movements, and ensure accurate matching of delivery notes to purchase orders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, assist in stock takes, investigate discrepancies, and ensure data is correctly inputted and KPIs are on track.
- Support and deputise for the Planning Manager when required; utilise Orchestrate to generate production plans.
- Previous experience in a Planning role, ideally within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- A natural problem solver, with a proactive approach and ability to react and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A full clean driving licence, with access to own vehicle.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills; able to effectively manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.
