Job Description

As a Technical Delivery Specialist at BT Group, you will play a crucial role in driving the delivery of commercial outcomes for technology developments and solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to implement workstreams in full cycle delivery, ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement workstreams in full cycle delivery of commercial outcomes for technology developments and solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to resolve risks and issues relating to delivery and any impacts on related components or teams.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, update on progress, and achieve benefits.
  • Monitor all actions and activities, from scope to delivery, to ensure adherence to technical roadmap and time and budget constraints.
  • Own the financial outlook of deliveries.
  • Implement ways to improve team, process, and service performance and suggest and implement changes to how the team operates.
Requirements
  • Project/Programme Management: Lead technical functional deliveries to achieve success through delivery excellence towards time, cost, and quality.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience of Agile deliveries, running daily stand-ups, unblocking issues, delivering with efficiency and integrity.
  • Requirements gathering: Experience of understanding and scoping requirements with design teams, through high-quality documentation and accountability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage, monitor, and improve relationships with stakeholders.
  • Resourcing: Acquire, allocate, and manage resources in the most efficient and effective manner.
  • Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage risks by implementing risk mitigation strategies and clear communication at all levels.
  • Strong track record of delivering technical and functional projects across technology domains.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
