Job Title: Senior Care Assistant
About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and companionship to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and conversation to clients, helping to alleviate loneliness and isolation
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with medication reminders and administration
- Encourage clients to engage in activities and hobbies, promoting mental and physical well-being
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
- Provide respite care and convalescence support
Requirements:
- Previous experience in care and support
- Knowledge of the local area and community resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
