Job Title: Senior Care Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and companionship to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and conversation to clients
  • Monitor diet and eating habits
  • Remind clients to take medication
  • Encourage clients to participate in activities and outings
  • Assist with walking and mobility
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events
  • Provide light housekeeping and laundry services
  • Prepare and tidy away meals
  • Assist with pet care and shopping

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care or a related field
  • Knowledge of the local area
  • NVQ level 3 in Care or equivalent
