Production Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance tasks, including addressing breakdowns and scheduled maintenance for production equipment.
- Respond promptly to equipment failures to minimize downtime.
- Champion continuous improvements throughout the factory, enhancing quality, efficiency, and performance.
- Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks and daily checks.
- Contribute to the training of colleagues and identify personal training needs.
- Ensure that all maintenance work aligns with our food safety standards.
- Adhere to our Hygiene Code of Practice and meet Health and Safety requirements for all tasks.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safe working conditions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with high-speed production equipment.
- Background in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for precision.
Working Hours:
4 on 4 off, rotating day and night shift pattern.
41.75 hours per week.
1.5 hour break.
