Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee maintenance tasks, including addressing breakdowns and scheduled maintenance for production equipment.
  • Respond promptly to equipment failures to minimize downtime.
  • Champion continuous improvements throughout the factory, enhancing quality, efficiency, and performance.
  • Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks and daily checks.
  • Contribute to the training of colleagues and identify personal training needs.
  • Ensure that all maintenance work aligns with our food safety standards.
  • Adhere to our Hygiene Code of Practice and meet Health and Safety requirements for all tasks.
  • Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safe working conditions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with high-speed production equipment.
  • Background in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for precision.

Working Hours:

4 on 4 off, rotating day and night shift pattern.

41.75 hours per week.

1.5 hour break.
