About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Clinical Systems Engineer to join our Clinical Systems team at Waters Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in defining our products and ensuring that developments result in safe and effective products.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) Systems for the Clinical Business Unit.
- Collaborate with product owners to understand and define system context and user requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to generate system designs and architectures.
- Own system verification and validation documents to provide test evidence.
- Lead the development and support of existing Waters Clinical systems and technologies.
- Promote the use of systems engineering tools and practices.
- Work within our process and regulatory frameworks to ensure patient safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related subject.
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering team environment.
- Proven experience in LC and/or MS instrumentation development.
- Ability to work in a regulated environment and understand high-level software and electro-mechanical architecture.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
