CAD Technician Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join our dynamic and supportive team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for developing detailed drawings using AutoCAD for hospitality projects such as pubs, hotels, bars, and restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD for hospitality projects
  • Collaborate with designers and architects to translate design concepts into technical drawings
  • Revise and update technical drawings based on feedback from the design team and clients
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations in all technical drawings
  • Maintain organised project files and manage version control for all CAD documentation
  • Liaise with project managers and team members to meet deadlines and ensure smooth project workflow
CAD Technician Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years' experience as a CAD Technician or similar
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Technical building construction knowledge
  • Up to date with UK building regulations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient at producing high quality drawings for a range of applications such as feasibility studies, licensing, site surveys and planning applications, design and access statements
  • Able to work effectively under time and budget constraints
  • Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
CAD Technician Position Remuneration

We offer a competitive salary of up to £40,000 DOE, early Friday finishes, and a progressive annual leave package that grows with your tenure. You will also be part of a friendly and supportive working environment within a small, family-run company.
