Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Finance Paralegal who will be supporting a busy Finance department within a top-tier international law firm in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties, which include but are not limited to legal research, contract drafting and revision, and case management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Legal Team
    • Assist in preparing and drafting legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
    • Review and revise financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Transactions
    • Participate in signing and closing arrangements for financing transactions.
    • Review company searches and completion of company search review forms.
  • Document Production
    • Produce revised drafts of finance documents, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
    • Assist in creating legal presentations for the team and clients.
  • Compliance and Administration
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
    • Provide general administrative support to the Legal team.
    • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive information.

Requirements

A successful Finance Paralegal should have:

  • An academic background in Law or a related field.
  • Experience in a legal support role within a professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of finance regulations and contract law.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
