About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Tonbridge Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's learning and development, tailored to their individual needs and interests.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in their child's learning journey.
  3. Promote and ensure the welfare, protection, health, and safety of children, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
  4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive, happy, and safe environment that supports the well-being of all children and staff.
Requirements
  1. Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  2. Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting.
  3. Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  4. Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  5. Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
