Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Assistant

Location: Remote Opportunity

Remuneration: Up to £30,000 pro rata

Contract Details: Permanent, 30 hours per week

We are seeking a detail-oriented and numerically skilled Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our client's team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Run weekly payroll and ensure timely payment to employees
  • Verify and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and balance
  • Monitor and record cash receipts in SAGE accounting software
  • Collaborate with other teams to match invoices with loading lists and maintain accurate records
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, customer details, and supplier statements
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and ensure timely delivery to stakeholders
  • Liaise with external entities, including customers and suppliers, to ensure smooth transactions and timely payments
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software (SAGE)
  • Previous experience in accounts administration is preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset
