Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Leader to join our team at Inotiv. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our animal care team, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of animal care technicians to ensure the smooth operation of our animal facilities.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our team members.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of animal care and welfare, including inventory levels and production goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they are meeting their performance goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new procedures and protocols to improve animal care and welfare.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss team performance, goals, and objectives.

Requirements

  • Must have a strong background in animal care and welfare, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Competency Level IV in Training Record, with a strong understanding of AAALAC requirements.
