Job Title: Nursing Home Manager
Location: Our care home is situated in a convenient location, easily accessible by public transportation.
Salary: £58,000 (plus bonus) per annum, reflecting our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent.
Position Type: Full-time, offering a stable and secure work environment.
About the Role
As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation of our care home. This includes managing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Manage the daily operations of the care home, ensuring a high standard of care and service.
- Leadership and Development: Lead, support, and develop the care team, promoting a positive and effective working environment.
- Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies, maintaining excellent care standards.
- Care Planning: Oversee the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they meet individual resident needs and are regularly reviewed.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve financial and operational targets.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a managerial role within a care home or similar setting, ideally with a large care provider.
- Qualifications and Skills: Active NMC pin, in-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards, and relevant qualifications in health and social care, such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
