Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Tutor to join our team at Service Care Recruit. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting high needs learners in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver courses and programs that meet awarding body, funding body, and contractual requirements, including accredited and non-accredited provision.
  • Provide individualized support to learners, including initial, formative, and summative assessment, and develop personalized learning materials and strategies.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, including the preparation of learning materials and the design and development of monitoring and assessment tools.
  • Collaborate with other agencies to support learning provision, including the recruitment and referral of learners.
  • Assist with the administration of learning programs, including fee collection and the completion and return of course data.
Requirements
  • Experience working with post-16 learners.
  • Cert Ed or PETALS or above.
  • Good standard of maths and English.
  • Previous experience working with learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
