Decontamination Technician Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Decontamination Technicians at Ramsay Sterile Services East. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for flexible working patterns, reflecting our commitment to work-life balance.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform the complete decontamination cycle on reusable medical devices (surgical instruments) adhering to the highest standards and Ramsay policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in quality control processes, ensuring accurate completion of procedures and documentation at all times.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Decontamination Technician within a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including the MS Office suite.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Willingness to work occasional night shifts after achieving competence.
