Pension Data Lead Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Data Lead to join our team at NET Recruit. As a key member of our pensions team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive and detailed reporting and analysis to support business decision-making regarding the pension plan and benefits scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct design checks on data integrity, completeness, and accuracy, providing reporting and extracts from the results to summarize data with explanations.
  • Compare and work with large data extracts, summarizing this to be used for decision-making.
  • Document all anomalies and issues, ensuring they are fully investigated and resolved.
  • Work as part of the De-Risking team to define solutions for remaining pension benefits, administration processes, and record-keeping, and support post-migration calculation and payment of residual benefits.
  • Test system change requests, including specific reports such as triennial valuations, and deliver final migration to selected insurance providers and advisors.
  • Collaborate on bulk data migration, validation, and reconciliation for third-party systems.
  • Define bulk mailing extracts for individual member statements in support of member queries.

Requirements:

  • A relevant pensions qualification and strong experience working with Defined Benefit structures, with complex benefit structure schemes.
  • Fantastic with data sets and able to work with large volumes of data, including presenting it in manageable ways.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
  • Experience using data query and validation software, SQL, and Microsoft Access is desired.
