We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Palliative Care Nurse Specialist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and their families in our inpatient unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist palliative care to patients and their families, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Supervise and mentor Healthcare Assistants to ensure high standards of care are delivered.
- Support patients, families, and significant others in their care journey.
- Work effectively in an emotionally demanding environment, maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with full UK NMC registration.
- Palliative care experience or a strong desire to move your career into palliative care.
- Good organisational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an emotionally demanding environment.
- Own transport.
