Position Overview
Damicor Ltd is seeking a dedicated Plant Hire Controller to oversee and enhance our equipment rental operations.

Key Responsibilities
As a Plant Hire Controller, your role will encompass the following duties:
  • Analyze customer feedback to pinpoint improvement opportunities and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Schedule service appointments efficiently to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Track and report on the timely execution of service and repair tasks.
  • Maintain comprehensive logs of interactions with stakeholders and service-related communications.
  • Produce reports detailing the effective allocation of resources, including technicians, machinery, and materials.
  • Ensure a fair distribution of workload among service and repair teams.
  • Document all service and repair activities accurately, including work performed, parts utilized, and customer details, ensuring records are preserved throughout the project duration.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of technical support provided to technicians and report findings.
  • Monitor inventory levels for dedicated stores, ensuring adequate stock of parts and supplies.
  • Oversee the timely fulfillment of orders for parts and supplies.
  • Provide compliance reports regarding project and industry regulations, as well as company safety protocols.
  • Document and report any safety incidents, including corrective measures taken.
  • Generate performance metrics reports, focusing on response and completion times.
  • Develop strategies to optimize service and repair coordination processes.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs for ongoing improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service coordination.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Experience in a service and maintenance coordination role.
  • A solid understanding of the equipment rental industry is advantageous.
  • Capability to achieve BPSS clearance.
  • CCNSG Safety passport.
