Job Summary

Arcus FM is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of People Services to join our HR senior leadership team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving change and implementing a new People Services function that aligns with our business strategy and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Chief People Officer to design and deliver a People Services strategy that meets our immediate and long-term needs.
  • Lead and develop an internal-customer focused People Services team to deliver an efficient service to colleagues and managers.
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies to enhance the HR service through automation and system enhancements.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of an HR administration model that meets strategic and operational objectives.
  • Develop and lead a team that is motivated to deliver effective and accurate people processes and advice.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and leverage vendors to ensure our People Service operations are aligned with market benchmarks.
  • Manage and deliver people risks to ensure compliance with employment law and legislation such as GDPR.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in senior HR positions, with a track record of facilitating change within an established HR function.
  • Significant experience of HR shared service activities, including UK payroll and legislative compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage, lead, and develop a People Services team.
  • Demonstrable experience of process improvement, leveraging automation, and implementing simplicity within a HR function.
  • Ability to deliver both BAU and process improvement strategies simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Payroll and wider UK legislative processes.
  • Ability to design people services metrics and KPIs to monitor and demonstrate effective customer service.

  • Salary: £60,000-65,000 depending on experience
