About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to neonates in our 32-cot unit, including medical and surgical care
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent clinical standards and staff development
  • Act as a mentor and preceptor to junior staff and students
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current First Level Registration (Child Branch)/RSCN/RGN
  • Qualified in Speciality (Neonatal HD and ITU Certificate and NLS)
  • Significant experience in Neonatal Nursing
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
