About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team in Northampton, UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering advanced technical support and leading the delivery of projects from inception to closure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage scope of projects from inception to closure.
  • Define, develop and manage implementation schedules and project budgets.
  • Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kick-off and ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope and mitigate risks.
  • Have a deep understanding of AWS technology stack to drive end-to-end architecture and engineer solutions with the development team, keeping delivery timelines in mind.
Requirements
  • Good technical experience in Java, Backend & Cloud (preferable AWS) architecture.
  • Extensive background in development and delivering complex projects throughout the lifecycle.
  • Project planning and progress monitoring, including budget control and milestone control.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
Desirable Skills
  • Deep knowledge on AWS technical stack - Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, API gateway, monitoring solutions like Cloud Watch and Xray.
  • Deep knowledge on event-driven systems using frameworks like Active MQ, Kafka, AWS Kinesis.
  • Working experience of AWS data pipelines, Glue, S3 and Glacier storage, file transfer solutions like Data Sync.
