University College Birmingham is seeking an experienced and qualified Learning Skills and Development Coach (Professional Cookery) to join the award-winning professional cookery apprenticeship team.
Key Responsibilities- Onboard apprentices, including employer engagement, and provide support for level 2 and level 3 culinary workplace learners.
- Have a good understanding of apprenticeship compliance and end-point assessment requirements, as well as health and safety, food safety, and occupational legislation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and stakeholders in the culinary industry.
- Contribute to the development of high-quality learning materials and resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Relevant qualification in Professional Cookery or Culinary Arts and a relevant assessors award.
- Relevant vocational experience in the sector.
- Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and use initiative on certain tasks.
- Flexible approach to work, including evening and weekend events, and regular travel to employer sites.
- Full clean driving licence.
