About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Associate Director - Transport Planner. As a key member of our transport planning team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects for our clients in the private and public sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends in transport planning.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including proposal writing and client pitches.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of delivering complex transport planning projects, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of transport planning principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as transport planning, civil engineering, or geography.
  • Professional certifications, such as Chartered Member of the Institute of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) or Chartered Engineer (CEng).
