Ceded Reinsurance Technician Role

Eames Consulting is seeking a skilled Ceded Reinsurance Technician to join their team. As a key member of the Ceded Reinsurance Operations team, this individual will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely post-placement administration of the insurer's Ceded reinsurance program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer reinsurance contracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
  • Accurately record ceded reinsurance contracts in the policy admin system
  • Process payment requests and credit control recoveries balances
  • Calculate and process facultative and excess of loss reinsurance recoveries
  • Provide proactive customer service to operations, underwriting, actuarial, and finance teams
  • Assist in preparing information for analysis and placement of reinsurance programs
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of technical Ceded RI concepts and systems knowledge
  • Circa 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Good level of insurance and reinsurance knowledge
  • Strong Microsoft Suite skills, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work effectively with the Ceded Reinsurance Team and stakeholders across different functions
