About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Management: You will be responsible for estimating costs, quantities, and project timelines, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Client Liaison: You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Estimation and Tendering: You will prepare detailed estimates and tender documents, ensuring that our proposals accurately reflect the scope of work and the associated costs.
  • Contract Management: You will manage contracts from inception to completion, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and that our clients receive the best possible service.
  • Commercial Risk Management: You will identify and mitigate commercial risks, ensuring that our projects are delivered with minimal risk and maximum return.
  • Subcontractor Management: You will assign work to subcontractors, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Experience: You will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the civil engineering sector.
  • Qualifications: You will hold a construction-related qualification, such as a degree in quantity surveying or a related field.
  • NEC Contracts: You will have experience working with NEC contracts and be familiar with their requirements and procedures.
