We are seeking a Well Services Supervisor for offshore operations to lead our Well Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of well service activities in both onshore and offshore settings.
The role requires strict adherence to safety, quality, and technical standards set by Expro and our clients, ensuring that operational plans are executed within the established timelines and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for the work site and oversee operations to guarantee the safe completion of tasks while preventing technical issues.
- Supervise all well intervention and service operations on-site, establishing a credible presence as a leader to the team and other personnel.
- Manage risks associated with the work site, ensuring all risks are minimized before commencing operations. Conduct regular reviews and inspections of the work site.
- Oversee any modifications to the work program, ensuring compliance with client and company protocols.
- Verify that all equipment meets compliance standards and is suitable for the operations being conducted.
- Facilitate planning meetings and ensure team participation as needed.
- Engage in planning and organizing activities at the onshore office, including attending meetings and preparing reports.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure well site support is planned and executed, preventing operational delays.
- Interact with client representatives professionally, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
- Complete necessary documentation in accordance with client and company procedures in a timely manner.
- Act as the primary point of contact with clients, ensuring effective communication among all parties involved in operations.
- Mentor team members to enhance their knowledge and assist in their professional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to fulfill required competencies for current and future roles.
Qualifications and Skills
- Technical knowledge acquired through relevant competency completion.
- Formal technical qualifications.
- Extensive technical experience in the field.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
