Our client is a well-established residential developer with a successful track record in the London market. They have a diversified business model, excellent funding, and a robust pipeline of projects.

**Job Summary**

We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Manager to lead a project to redevelop an existing building into high-quality residential units. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the project, including design production, subcontractor procurement, and coordination with the site team.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Preconstruction management, including project setup, design team procurement, and coordination
  • Oversight of technical design production and subcontractor procurement and coordination
  • Coordination of planning conditions, warranty, building control, and other third-party engagements
  • Close coordination with the site team to ensure quality standards are met
  • Management of a team as necessary (e.g., Technical Coordinator)

**Requirements**

The ideal candidate will have a design or technical background, proven experience at Technical Manager level, and a track record of delivering residential schemes to handover. They will also have experience in delivering redevelopment and heavy refurbishment projects.
