Position Overview
This role is accountable to the Regional Ground Network Services Manager, Ground Network Operations Manager, Ground Network Supervisors, and Lead Agents. The Ground Network Services (GNS) agents are integral to the daily management of truck operations and ensuring the seamless movement of GNS shipments throughout the logistics network.
Work Schedule: This position involves both night and day shifts, operating on a 4 on 4 off pattern from 18:00 to 06:00 and 06:00 to 18:00.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the efficient and timely flow of freight processes.
- Perform accurate and prompt data entry into the operational systems.
- Enhance route planning and optimize truck utilization.
- Engage with both internal and external customers to coordinate their shipments while adhering to service standards.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, both internal and external, in line with government requirements.
- Comprehend departmental workflows and seek best practices to boost operational efficiency and productivity.
- Implement and uphold all standard operating procedures.
- Achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) standards as per company protocols.
- Communicate effectively and in a timely manner.
- Escalate issues to management when necessary.

Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to listen, understand, and communicate effectively to achieve positive outcomes.
- Proactive approach with robust organizational capabilities.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English is required.
