We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour and Learning Mentor to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a Behaviour and Learning Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a specialist school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children during lessons and school activities, promoting their learning and well-being.
  • Work closely with staff and children during lunch and break times, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans, tailored to each child's individual needs.
  • Provide physical management and care for pupils, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Collect and record evidence of children's work, supporting their assessment and progress.
  • Deliver one-to-one and small group activities, promoting social and emotional development.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a school setting, preferably with SEND pupils.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a high level of care and resilience.
  • Ability to work with children with a variety of SEND and Mental Health needs.
  • Driving is essential due to the rural location.
