Job Title: Head of ICT Category

We are seeking an experienced ICT Category Lead to join our Procurement and Commercial Management team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the ICT Category team in procurement and commercial contract management activity that maximises value for money and minimises risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the ICT Category team in procurement and commercial contract management activity
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to maximise value for money and minimise risks
  • Manage and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with public sector procurement procedures and regulations
Requirements:
  • Extensive hands-on experience in procurement, category and contract management
  • Advanced working knowledge and experience of public sector procurement procedures and regulations
  • Experience of using a wide range of information technology applications
  • Possession of, or participation in a course of study leading to a Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply and MCIPS membership with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS)
