Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EMEA French Speaking Payroll Specialist to join our team at Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. As a key member of our payroll finance team, you will be responsible for processing end-to-end payroll for EMEA countries with utmost confidentiality of employee records and business information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare global payroll data for payroll processing by third-party payroll administration partners, ensuring accurate and timely processing of the company's payrolls.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive continuous performance improvement projects to enhance payroll accuracy, compliance, productivity, and employee satisfaction.
  • Audit and Validation: Perform audits and validations of payroll transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Payroll Information Management: Ensure timely preparation, processing, maintenance, and distribution of payroll information, payroll reports, tax year-end reports, payroll manuals, and related payroll working instructions.
  • Confidentiality and Security: Maintain confidentiality of any payroll, private employee information, and proprietary information, ensuring payroll information is secure.
Requirements
  • Language: French Speaker Mandatory, with previous experience of managing French Payroll.
  • Experience: 6-8 years of experience in international payroll administration in Shared Services center environment.
  • Payroll Systems: Experience in working with third-party payroll services providers, such as ADP, and systems like ADP Celergo & ADP Global View, ADP E-Time, Kelio.
  • Technical Background: Technical background on dealing with Time and Attendance system, Payroll and HRIS systems interfaces.
  • Payroll System Implementation: Experience in payroll system implementation – data validation and data analysis.
  • SOX Compliance: Understanding of SOX Compliance controls for Payroll processes.
  • Additional Language: Another European Language will be preferable, mainly Italian or Spanish, other languages such as French/German.
  • Payroll Accounting: Basic knowledge of payroll accounting.
