Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our team. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide wound care and non-complex dressing services
- Remove stitches and perform NHS Health checks, weight monitoring, and Long-Term Condition monitoring
- Offer lifestyle advice to patients and make necessary referrals
- Perform ECG, phlebotomy, and administer B12 injections under PSDs signed by GPs
- Administer annual influenza vaccinations/pneumonia under PSD (training can be given)
- Conduct urine dipstick testing, BP monitoring, and 24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring
- Deliver injections, including B12, within your level of training
- Maintain and order clinical supplies and health equipment
- Restock clinical areas and maintain cleanliness
