We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Circle Health Group.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide an excellent support service for qualified physiotherapy staff, enabling them to maximise their clinical skills, expertise and productivity whilst providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to physiotherapy staff in the delivery of patient care
  • Participate in pre-operative assessment and clinical treatment under the supervision of a Physiotherapist or Senior Physiotherapist
  • Manage physiotherapy appointment systems accurately and efficiently
  • Handle general telephone enquiries and refer clinical issues to the relevant Physiotherapist
  • Manage patient databases and ensure accurate recording of data
  • Ensure departmental compliance with CHG Physiotherapy audit requirements
Requirements
  • Previous experience within a healthcare environment
  • Ability to reassure patients in varying situations and encourage them to undertake their exercise programmes
  • Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems
  • Motivated and enthusiastic individual with good communication skills
  • Good team player with attention to detail
