We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Brain Injury Support Worker.

**Job Summary:**

As a Brain Injury Support Worker, you will be working with a client in Birmingham who requires assistance with memory impairment, perception delays, mobility, and vision. Your role will involve aiding with their physiotherapy programme, helping manage their medication, and providing emotional support and companionship.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Engage with personalised routines to support the client's daily needs
* Assist with the physiotherapy programme to promote physical well-being
* Help manage medication to ensure the client's health and safety
* Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the client's quality of life
* Aid with monitoring food intake to ensure the client's nutritional needs are met
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care

**Requirements:**

* Previous experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to work the specified hours

**Training & Background Checks:**

An enhanced DBS check and full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client. You will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
