We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Work Practitioner to join our Family Support Team within the Safeguarding Outcomes Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality social care services to children, young people, and families in the Bath and North East Somerset area.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to, coordinate, and deliver a range of social care services to children, young people, and families.
- Undertake single assessments and section 47 child protection investigations.
- Work closely with colleagues across the service and establish partnerships with agencies across health, education, support services, and adult services.
- Manage a caseload of children and families with complex needs, analyzing information and formulating outcome-focused plans.
- Develop and implement care plans and legal work to protect children and promote their outcomes through permanency.
- A comprehensive induction program to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
- Regular supervision and support from experienced managers and colleagues.
- Opportunities for professional development and training, including Systemic Practice, attachment-based workshops, and trauma-informed workshops.
