About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Risk Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying, assessing, and mitigating digital risks that could potentially impact Dow Jones' operations, reputation, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities related to digital security, data privacy, and online operations.
  • Develop and implement robust strategies and policies to mitigate identified risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Stay abreast of emerging digital threats and trends, conducting research and analysis to inform risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technology, legal, and communications, to integrate risk mitigation measures into existing processes and systems.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on best practices for digital security and data protection.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented risk management programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure ongoing protection.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in digital risk management, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of digital security principles, threats, and vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards, such as GDPR and NIST.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
