About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Services Manager to join our team at The Random House Group Limited. As a key member of our Regional & Non-Trade credit teams, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Assistant Manager by overseeing the sales ledger debtor positions, ensuring profitable sales while minimizing overdue and bad debts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and assess sales ledger, including claims investigation, overdue and bad debts, full account reconciliations, and adherence to the credit insurance policy.
  • Work closely with our business partners, customers, and internal departments to understand their business needs and ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Identify training needs, provide on-the-job coaching, and conduct regular performance reviews to foster continuous learning and development within your team.
  • Regularly review and update team processes and procedures, ensuring efficiency and first-class service delivery.
  • Handle performance and absence management, and maintain appropriate levels of team cover.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in credit management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to complete tasks with a high level of competency.
