We are seeking a skilled Housing Officer to join our team at Essential Employment Ltd. As a key member of our residential services team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality tenancy management service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a customer-focused, proactive, and high-quality tenancy management service to general needs and sheltered residents.
  • Enable residents to hold sustainable tenancies, ensuring they can actively engage in decision-making and create neighbourhoods where people want to live.
  • Ensure tenants and leaseholders comply with tenancy/lease terms and take appropriate action to remedy any breaches.
  • Build effective relationships with residents, increasing resident satisfaction and quality of life.
  • Identify and provide support to vulnerable residents, linking them into support services and the local neighbourhood.
  • Lead on a programme of tenancy audit visits, updating business intelligence for the people and places we manage.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in tenancy management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
