We are partnering with a leading Freight Forwarding organisation to find a skilled Import LCL Clerk to join their team in the UK.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for handling LCL Import shipments for airfreight and seafreight, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure seamless logistics operations
  • Raise invoices and internal files to maintain accurate records
  • Pass supplier invoices for prompt payment
  • Communicate with Shipping lines, hauliers, and depots to arrange collections and deliveries
  • Ensure all customer deadlines are met, and customers are satisfied with shipment deliveries
  • Follow up with customers after deliveries to ensure satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience working in a freight forwarding or logistics environment
  • Proven experience handling LCL import shipments
  • Familiarity with CNS, Destin8, or Multi-freight systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
