Position: Human Resources Coordinator

Poundstretcher is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the efficiency of our HR operations by delivering high-quality administrative support, ensuring that all HR-related tasks are executed with professionalism and precision.

This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, allowing you to develop or expand your expertise in various HR functions. While a formal HR qualification is preferred, it is not a strict requirement for the ideal candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting employment contracts and offer letters
  • Completing necessary documentation for security clearances for new management personnel
  • Obtaining and providing employment references
  • Managing administration related to employee sickness and absence
  • Updating job vacancies on both internal and external platforms
  • Assisting with various HR projects and administrative tasks, including absence management and disciplinary procedures
  • Establishing and maintaining personnel files for new management hires
  • Processing authorization forms for new hires and salary adjustments
  • Organizing filing and archiving systems
  • Addressing inquiries from store locations via telephone
  • Performing additional duties as required
