Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Author to join our team at Nicoll Curtin. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation to support our disaster recovery and business continuity efforts.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify potential risks to our daily operations and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Review and analyze our existing continuity plans to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
  • Develop contingency plans for critical functions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed documentation to support our disaster recovery efforts, including step-by-step work instructions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business continuity plans.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and document complex processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in business continuity planning and disaster recovery, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
