Job Description

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Apprenticeship Tutor to join our team in Exeter. As an Apprenticeship Tutor, you'll play a key role in supporting the development of Early Years and Teaching Assistants, helping them to achieve their full potential and make a positive impact in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality training and assessment for Early Years and Teaching Assistants
  • Develop and implement individualized training plans to meet the needs of each apprentice
  • Maintain accurate records of apprentice progress and performance
  • Deliver training sessions that are engaging, informative, and tailored to the needs of each apprentice
  • Assess apprentice skills and behaviours, providing constructive feedback and guidance
Requirements
  • Hold a qualification or have experience in the subject area
  • Have up-to-date industry knowledge and a strong understanding of the Early Years and Teaching Assistant sectors
  • Hold Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualifications
  • Have experience of working with employers in a training or customer relations role
  • Able to develop strong professional relationships with employers and learners
  • Strong IT skills and willingness to work with e-portfolio systems
  • Can motivate learners and ensure they complete on time
  • Hold a full driving licence and be willing to travel to customer sites
