Account Associate Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, delivering exceptional services through the latest cloud accounting technology. Your primary focus will be on overseeing bookkeeping, management reporting, credit control, and general business support to ensure our clients receive top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management & Reporting: Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely completion of accounts preparation, management reports, and bank reconciliations. Collaborate across teams to identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services.
  • Bookkeeping & Invoicing: Provide accurate bookkeeping services, including data entry, ledger management, and processing client invoices. Ensure payroll journals are processed in Xero before the month-end deadline.
  • Payment Processing & Reconciliation: Draft and prepare payment runs and complete bank reconciliations within agreed timescales to meet client deadlines.
  • Workflow & Task Management: Keep task management systems up-to-date with accurate data, and assist in ensuring that all processes are completed within set timeframes.
  • Continuous Improvement & Risk Management: Identify ways to improve service delivery, client satisfaction, and internal efficiency, while keeping the Account Manager informed of any risks or issues in a timely manner.
