Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Execute Audits

Our Audit Associate will be responsible for planning and executing audits for each assignment, ensuring that clients receive a high-quality service through effective management of resources and liaison with relevant departments.

Establish Client Relationships

The successful candidate will establish and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at the client, ensuring that clients receive an efficient and proactive service and expectations are exceeded.

Identify and Resolve Issues

The Audit Associate will identify issues and agree resolution with the client Partner or Director, ensuring they are up to date with the job's progress.

Commercial Awareness

The successful candidate will have awareness of commercial aspects of clients' businesses and its impact on our work, identifying and highlighting any opportunities for Evelyn Partners apparent from work undertaken.

Client Communication

The Audit Associate will regularly discuss progress with the client, confirming progress, identifying solutions to any hurdles, and ensuring reasonable expectations are met.

Requirements
  • Accountancy Qualification

The successful candidate will be studying for an accountancy qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA).

Audit and Accounts Experience

Demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within a professional services firm is essential.

Communication Skills

Strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients, are required.

Leadership and Motivation

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of supervising others and delegation of work, with the ability to motivate staff to ensure best performance.

Organisation and Time Management

The Audit Associate will have the ability to organise self and others, ensuring that they can work on several different assignments at one time.

Cost Management

The successful candidate will have the ability to pro-actively monitor costs against budget for individual clients.
