About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Senior Cost Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Management: Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Estimating and Cost Planning: Manage the estimating and cost planning stages, including presenting the final cost plan to the client.
  • Tendering and Procurement: Tender for and procure contracts, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, and compiling the contractual documents.
  • Contract Administration: Conduct the role of contract administrator, including dealing effectively with post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
  • Final Accounts: Negotiate and agree final accounts with clients.
  • Client Interface: Interface with clients, project managers, and other consultants at all project stages.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Turner and Townsend's project management team during project delivery.
  • Knowledge Management: Ensure that key information and learning generated from each commission is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in cost management, programme management, and commercial management.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Qualifications: Relevant professional qualifications, such as RICS Chartership or NEC accreditation.
