Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Matchtech. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support to engineering and commercial departments in the water sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide 2nd level technical support for technology and support products, receiving and managing requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Support the creation of documentation related to service delivery activities, including work instructions and service delivery plans.
  • Technical Bulletins: Produce and share technical bulletins with relevant members and maintain a distribution record of shared information.
  • Technology Development: Collect and create new ideas for the use of cutting-edge technology to improve current and implement new service methods, digital tools, and approaches to learning.
  • Services Projects: Support and coordinate the preparation of documentation and materials needed to deliver services, including service acceptance criteria, service delivery plans, drawings, and manuals.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Previous client-facing experience required.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to be concise and thorough in documentation.
  • Punctuality and Presentation: Be punctual and presentable, with extensive knowledge and experience of company products, applications, and markets.
  • Water Chemistry: Knowledge of water chemistry principles.
  • Water Technologies: Experience and knowledge of water technologies, including Ion Exchange, Reverse Osmosis, and Continuous Electro-Deionisation.
