Role Overview
We are in search of a Portfolio and Governance Manager within our Global Technology division, a pivotal role that contributes to the ongoing transformation of our operational methodologies and the value we deliver to our clients. This position is essential in ensuring that technology investments align with the overall corporate strategy, business goals, and technical roadmap, working closely with the Process and Transformation Officer.
This role is part of a global team, and we prefer candidates who can operate within Central European hours.
Key Responsibilities
This role demands a collaborative and technical approach, driven by a genuine passion for delivering impactful results. The primary responsibilities encompass:
- Managing and overseeing the comprehensive technology portfolio budget, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and the technology roadmap.
- Establishing and enforcing governance processes, policies, and standards for the portfolio to ensure compliance and consistency across all technology initiatives.
- Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including business leaders and technology executives.
- Contributing to the administration of Portfolio Management tools and developing solutions tailored to business needs.
- Conducting regular performance analysis and reporting on portfolio metrics against KPIs and expected benefits.
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with the portfolio through effective risk management strategies.
- Developing and maintaining IT governance policies and procedures, with ongoing monitoring of risk and compliance.
- Fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the portfolio management team, staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices.
- Leading or contributing to various projects within the global team.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional technology portfolios.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and portfolio governance practices.
- Solid financial acumen, including budgeting and cost-benefit analysis.
- Experience with analytics and process management.
- Familiarity with vendor management and procurement processes.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Certification in Atlassian Software and experience with project management tools.
- Strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects effectively.
- A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration, with advanced degrees being a plus.
- Significant experience in technology portfolio management within a global corporate environment.
