Core Responsibilities:
- Safety and Well-being Assurance: Create a secure, nurturing, and supportive atmosphere, addressing the care, educational, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic, and health requirements of each young person.
- Leadership and Supervision: Guide, mentor, and support junior staff members to ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality care, in accordance with the Home's standards and objectives.
- Operational Assistance: Collaborate with the management team to comply with policies, procedures, and documentation protocols, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Shift Coordination: Manage various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and sleep-ins, and engage in residential outings as necessary.
- Advocacy and Liaison: Work closely with senior management, local authorities, educational institutions, healthcare professionals, and other external stakeholders to advocate for and promote the welfare of the young individuals.
- Cultural Inclusivity: Promote an inclusive workplace culture that values the contributions of every team member and actively addresses discrimination.
- Confidentiality Maintenance: Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality in all aspects of your role.

- Competitive Salary: £14.46 per hour, plus £66 per sleep-in (typically 6 nights per month).
