Job Summary

Venture Up is seeking a skilled Senior User Researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of a major product for a public sector client. As a key member of our UX practice, you will be responsible for leading user research activities and providing insights to inform product development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit participants for user research and schedule research activities to gather insights on product usability and user experience.
  • Plan and lead user research activities to inform product development and iteration.
  • Conduct user research to identify pain points and areas for improvement in product design.
  • Lead the analysis and synthesis of user research findings to inform product development decisions.
  • Present research findings and user insights to stakeholders, teams, and users to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize UX resources and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Align user research activities with business objectives to inform service propositions and product development.
  • Recommend tools and approaches to understand user needs and preferences.

Requirements

  • Current or Lapsed SC Clearance required.
  • Ability to work remotely with occasional travel to sites across the UK.
  • Experience in user research and analysis, with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex research findings to stakeholders.
