We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Facility Maintenance Team at TXM Recruit. The successful candidate will work on a static hospital contract in Wickford, performing a range of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
The starting salary for this position is £37,000 - £38,000 per annum, working 40 hours per week. A 1 in 4 week call out rota is also in place.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including replacing and repairing plug sockets, taps, light switches, and extractor fans.
- Perform minor carpentry and painting tasks, including patch plastering.
- Install and maintain emergency lighting, normal lighting, and LED replacement wiring.
- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance work to ensure the facility remains safe and operational.
- 18th edition certification
- City & Guilds Level 2 (desirable)
- Valid driving license
