Compensation: £29,641 - £30,905 (includes sleep allowance)

Shift Pattern: 2 days on, 4 days off

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage young individuals to engage in activities and take charge of their lives according to their age.
  • Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the home.
  • Effectively manage challenging behaviors when necessary.
  • Safeguard the health and welfare of children and young people.
  • Provide support to promote independence and well-being.
  • Ensure a safe living environment for all young residents.
  • Stay informed about each individual's care plan, guidelines, and preferred communication methods.
  • Support challenging behaviors with empathy and safety.
  • Foster positive relationships with staff, parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's lives.

Qualifications Required:

  • Level 3 QCF in Children & Young People is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience in healthcare or social care settings is advantageous but not essential.
  • A valid driver's license is required for transporting young individuals as needed.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to commute to the designated location is necessary.
